ACUM Conference - call for papers

We are pleased to invite academic staff, researchers, doctoral students, and students to present their original research and professional practice at the ACUM Conference, organized by the National University of Arts in Bucharest.

The conference provides a multidisciplinary platform for presenting, discussing, and exchanging ideas on current research and practice in the fields of:

Visual studies – Art theory – Art criticism – Curatorship * Trends and Directions in Contemporary Applied Arts and Design * Artistic Research * Aesthetics of the Visual Image * Heritage Studies, including the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage * New Approaches to Teaching and Training in Art Universities * Cultural Management and Cultural Policies.

 We welcome original theoretical, methodological, and practice-based contributions that engage with contemporary issues, emerging perspectives, and interdisciplinary approaches.

The conference offers an opportunity to share research with an academic and professional community, receive feedback, and establish new scholarly connections.

Importantly, participation in the conference is free of charge, and there are no publication fees for accepted contributions. Selected papers will have the opportunity to be considered for publication following the conference's review and editorial procedures.

Researchers, academic staff, doctoral students, and students from relevant disciplines are warmly encouraged to submit their work.
