Spatial Activities and Experimental Techniques Studio
Diploma Studio
The aim of the Studio is to explore new formal solutions in glass through experimentation and research into its visual potential and technical possibilities in spatial objects, compositions, installations, and performative actions. We develop students’ ability to use the language of visual arts and support them in making independent decisions when realising creative concepts. The Studio prepares students for independent artistic practice.
The core of the Studio’s activities is the development of skills necessary to formulate and express original artistic ideas in glass. We support students’ intellectual growth, expand their visual awareness and imagination, and teach methods of realisation using diverse and unique glassmaking techniques. Together, we explore and investigate the nature, potential, and beauty of glass, seeking new solutions to be applied in creative artistic practice.
