The recruitment procedure for the academic year 2026/2027 (1st call) is open for online enrollment from 02.02.2026 to 16.03.2026 >> e-rekrutacja.asp.wroc.pl <<

Deadlines:
1st call: 02.02–16.03.2026, results by 30 March 2026
2nd call: 13.04–29.06.2026, results by 13 July 2026

Duration: 2 year (4 semesters)
ECTS: 120
Limit: 20 students

Tuition fee:In the academic year 2026/27, the tuition fee is EUR 6,900 per year (in the case of upfront payment for the entire academic year). The tuition fee may be paid in 2, 4, or 8 instalments.
The application fee amounts to PLN 150 (or EUR 35).*

Recruitment step by step

Step 1

1. Log into the Academy’s electronic recruitment system e-rekrutacja.asp.wroc.pl

2. Fill in the personal questionnaire and upload a photograph of yourself that meets the requirements specified in the system.

3. Attach scans of the required documents:

  • ID card or passport;
  • document confirming your English language skills at B2 level (please check the requirements you must meet below);
  • diploma or another document entitling to pursue second-cycle studies in Poland (please check the requirements you must meet below);
  • confirmation of payment of the enrolment fee (the fee should be paid in PLN or EUR to the account of the Academy, enclose a scan of the transfer confirmation, the transfer costs are on the candidate's side – payment instructions BELOW);

4. After the payment is credited to the Academy’s account (a few days after the transaction), the university approves your documents and YOUR STATUS WILL CHANGE FROM "INTERESTED" TO "CANDIDATE".

5. Attach a portfolio:

  • max 20 works (no older than 3 years)
  • portfolio may include still images (Format: jpg, Colour Model: RGB Resolution: 72 dpi Longer side: 20 cm, Max file size: 10 MB) and moving files (MP4 format, max duration 3 min)
  • files should be described – the title of work, year of creation, dimensions of the original, description of the technique used
  • names of the attached files should be ordered according to the pattern: Surname_Name_Title_work_01.jpg

6. Wait for the committee’s decision.

Step 2

The Admissions Committee will review the submitted materials.

If you meet the formal requirements, you will be invited to an online interview.

The admission interview focuses on issues related to culture and art and aims to verify the candidate’s knowledge in this field. An integral part of the interview is the presentation of the portfolio and individual artistic achievements, which allows for an assessment of the candidate’s competencies and creative output.
 

The admission interview assesses:

  • self-presentation skills
  • communication skills and clarity of expression
  • knowledge of current trends in art and culture

 

After reviewing your portfolio and evaluating your application on a scale of 0–20 points, 20 candidates with the highest scores will be offered a place in the programme. If you score 0–7 points, we will not be able to admit you to the programme.

Step 3

If you receive a decision on admission you will need to provide the originals of the above documents and:

  • a scanned copy of a health insurance policy in case of illness or accident during the time of education, or a European Health Insurance Card (Europejska Karta Ubezpieczenia Zdrowotnego, EKUZ), or an insurance acceptance form concerning access to Poland’s National Health Fund (Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia, NFZ) immediately after the commencement of the programme;
  • a colour scan of a valid visa, residence permit or another document entitling its holder to a long-term stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland – in case of foreigners who are not citizens of the European Union, the Swiss Confederation or the Member States of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).

Admission requirements for international applicants (from 1 July 2025)

From 1 July 2025, new legal regulations apply to international applicants seeking admission to higher education institutions in Poland. Below you will find guidelines outlining the requirements you must meet depending on your citizenship and the country in which your diploma was issued.

 

1. Citizens of the EU, EFTA, or the United Kingdom, with a diploma obtained in the EU, EFTA, OECD countries, China, Ukraine, or the United Kingdom

  • A Bachelor’s degree diploma (first-cycle studies), including a transcript of records, translated into English or Polish if the diploma was issued in a language other than Polish or English.
  • A certificate confirming proficiency in the language of instruction at CEFR level B2 (please contact us if you are unsure whether your certificate will be accepted).

 

2. Citizens of the EU, EFTA, or the United Kingdom, with a diploma obtained outside the EU, EFTA, OECD countries, China, Ukraine, or the United Kingdom

  • A Bachelor’s degree diploma (first-cycle studies), including a transcript of records, translated into English or Polish if the diploma was issued in a language other than Polish or English.
  • You must have your diploma recognised by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). More information is available here: https://syrena.nawa.gov.pl/.
  • A certificate confirming proficiency in the language of instruction at CEFR level B2 (a list of accepted certificates is provided below).

 

3. Citizens of OECD countries, China, or Ukraine, with a diploma obtained in the EU, EFTA, OECD countries, China, Ukraine, or the United Kingdom

  • A Bachelor’s degree diploma (first-cycle studies), including a transcript of records, translated into English or Polish if the diploma was issued in a language other than Polish or English.
  • A certificate confirming proficiency in the language of instruction at CEFR level B2 (a list of accepted certificates is provided below).

 

4. Citizens of OECD countries, China, or Ukraine, with a diploma obtained outside the EU, EFTA, OECD countries, China, Ukraine, or the United Kingdom
