TOO MUCH WORLD | Debate on New Media Art - Games, VR, animation, and generative systems
CSU ul. Traugutta 19/21
sala 608
You are invited to the event, which will take place on 23 February at CSU.CI.
Art has never been this close to everyday experience. Never this participatory, immediate, or ubiquitous. Perhaps we are not witnessing a “loss of artistic weight” — perhaps its function is simply changing.
We will talk about worlds created through games, VR, animation, and generative systems. About art shifting from object to experience, from contemplation to participation. About the joy of creation, escapism, and artistic decisions made in conditions of excess. About digital materiality - its fragility, energy, and dependence on infrastructure.
Guests: Kathrin Hunze (DE) · Jeremy Couillard (US) · Boris Labbé (FR) · reinfected.me (PL/UK)
The invited guests are internationally recognized new media artists working with animation, games, installation, concert visuals, and digital storytelling. Their works have been presented at major festivals and exhibitions worldwide, exploring how technology transforms the way art is created and experienced.
