"Is air the only thing we never seek to restrict?"

Marking 36 years since the fall of Communism and the establishment of Democracy, the art project "CELULA free air" brings together artists from Romania and Poland – two former communist countries, now democratic. The project offers a visual analysis of how one regime has influenced another, highlighting both positive and negative aspects, examining the impact on collective psychology, reflecting on the values of freedom, past and present, and emphasizing the shared cultural heritage.

The project metaphorically explores the theme of freedom through the concept of the "cell": a limitation/a foundation of life, something that both divides and unites, something that creates. Its aim is to provoke viewers into reflection, raising bold and challenging questions.
