Wrocław Science Day

We invite you to view the photo report from the Open Meeting of the College of Rectors of Universities of Wrocław and Opole, which took place on 14 November in the Leopoldina Hall.

During the event, the Awards of the College of Rectors of Universities of Wrocław and Opole, as well as the Doctoral Scholarships of the Mayor of Wrocław, were presented.

The scholarships were awarded to doctoral candidates who demonstrated outstanding achievements in fields of knowledge corresponding to one of the eight scholarship categories. Representatives of each category received their diplomas from the Deputy Mayor of Wrocław, Ryszard Kessler, and Tomasz Janoś, Director of the Wrocław Academic Centre.

This year, the recipients included doctoral candidates from the Doctoral School of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław:
– Aqeel Abbas (Jerzy Grotowski Scholarship in the field of art; supervisor: Dr hab. Małgorzata Kaczmarska)
– Aleksandra Szlęk (Jerzy Grotowski Scholarship in the field of art; supervisor: Dr hab. Jakub Jernajczyk, Prof. ASP)

Aqeel Abbas represented the laureates in the Jerzy Grotowski Scholarship category.
