Welcome to the new website of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design Wrocław!

The new system replaces the previous website, which dates back to 2008. Since then, the technological
and visual standards have changed, but also the usability standards we expect from websites.

Work on the new website started several years ago, when, in the run-up to the implementation phase, an external company conducted research among students, staff and teachers. It collected detailed information on how we use the website, what information is crucial for us and what solutions did not work on the previous website. Based on this knowledge and the experiences of those involved in creating the current website, a specification for the new system was created.

In order to meet these expectations and on the basis of the specification, over the last year intensive work was carried out on a system combining the latest Internet technologies and well-tried solutions known to us from the 'old website'.

Parallel to the technical work carried out by an external contractor, the Academy also carried out substantive work aimed at updating, consolidating and organising the content presented in the new system. This work was coordinated by the International Relations and Promotion Department. Key content was developed and transferred to the new system. Additionally, hundreds of subpages, several thousand news items and tens of thousands of graphic files and attachments have been automatically migrated.

We invite you to use the new website, while asking for your understanding - the work continues and the new website will probably reach its final shape in a few weeks.

The realisation of the new website was possible thanks to the funds obtained in the project "Internationalisation of education, competent staff and modern management as a guarantee of quality and international presence of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław" implemented since 2018.
