Exhibition of ceramics from Association Errance.
Remarquer la Porcelaine The theme "Remarquer la Porcelaine" introduces us to inspect the porcelain as a traditional material with an innovative view. This art exhibition is expressed in poetic works through design, sculpture, installations and studies of form and material. Many of the works focus on the experiment with materials and new technologies. The works also take up subjects of a socio-political nature, with the material serving as a mirror on society. What does porcelain mean today – and what does the new interest in porcelain tell about the era we live in? what are the new possibilities for the industrial production of porcelain? These works provide an opportunity for contemplation and questioning. The exhibition will give the viewers a look at those opportunities with different ways of working on porcelain. It can be shaped, cast, broken, illustrated, built and combined with new media. With experiment on materials and combination on new technologies with traditional manufacturing technics, each of the exhibited projects involves a particular philosophy inextricably linked to its creation.
