The international course “Print Media in Contemporary Art”, organised as part of the SPINAKER – Intensive International Education Programmes, concluded with great success.

The event, held at the Academy from 18 to 22 May 2026, brought together 16 students, PhD candidates, and academic staff members from art universities around the world, all interested in contemporary printmaking and experimental print media practices. The programme included intensive workshops and mentoring sessions at the Academy, as well as an online seminar led by international lecturers, which took place on 15 May 2026.

Throughout the week, participants worked together in the spaces of our Academy under the guidance of Professor Aleksandra Janik, Wojciech Kołacz, and Paweł Puzio, with the support of Astitva Singh. They exchanged experiences, developed their artistic skills, and established new international connections. The course became an important platform for intercultural dialogue and the exchange of knowledge and practices in the field of contemporary printmaking.

The project is coordinated by the International Cooperation and Promotion Department and was carried out with the support of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) and the European Union under the FERS programme.
