KAF Young Prize 2026
Krupa Art Foundation announces the launch of the open call for the second edition of the KAF Young Prize—an international competition for young artists aimed at supporting creators at an early stage of their careers and presenting the most compelling artistic developments of the past two years. Following the success of the first edition, which received over 1,600 submissions, the competition has been expanded to include new artistic categories.
In the 2026 edition, artists may apply in three media: painting, digital art, and sculpture and installations. The expanded scope of the competition is a natural response to the dynamics of contemporary artistic practices and the growing need for platforms that enable the presentation of diverse forms of artistic expression.
KAF Young Prize remains an international competition whose mission is to increase the visibility of young artists in Poland and across Europe, support experimentation, and challenge traditional models of competition. As in 2024, instead of selecting a single winner, the jury will award three equal financial prizes of EUR 12,000 gross each. All remaining finalists will receive an exhibition fee of EUR 400 gross for participation in the final exhibition, which will take place in Wrocław in autumn 2026.
The competition is open-call. Submissions will be accepted via an online application form from 1 January 2026 at 00:00 to 31 March 2026 at 23:59. The announcement of finalists is planned for summer 2026.

The jury will include a laureate of the previous edition, reflecting the competition’s commitment to strengthening professional ties and fostering dialogue between the institution and artists. Information about the remaining jury members and competition partners will be announced at a later date.
