First MFA Thesis Defense of the Year

On 8 June 2026, Jingru Bai, a student from China enrolled in the MFA programme at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, successfully defended her diploma project.

The graduate presented an artistic project entitled “WAAAH” – Expressing Difficult Feelings Through Artistic Storytelling and a written thesis titled Expressing Difficult Feelings Through Artistic Storytelling.

Both the practical and theoretical components were supervised by Dr Anna Juchnowicz, while the thesis reviewer was Dr Katarzyna Gemborys.

The examination committee highly praised the quality of the submitted work and the defence itself, awarding it the highest grade. Jingru Bai will graduate with an overall result of very good.
