On 14 October, between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, the first edition of Erasmus Welcome Day will take place in the Botanical Garden of the University of Wrocław. The event is dedicated to Erasmus+ students who have just begun their studies in Wrocław.

The meeting is part of the celebration of the European Erasmus Days (13–18 October) and aims to welcome young people who have chosen our city as their place of study and life.

Participation in the event requires registration through the universities where students are currently undertaking their Erasmus+ mobility. The number of places is limited and registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register at: erasmus@asp.wroc.pl.

Participants will be invited to take part in art workshops, Zumba classes, a Polish language crash course, and will also receive a voucher for pierogi, a doughnut, and winter tea.
The event is organised by the Office for Cooperation with Universities and the International Cooperation Office of the Wrocław City Hall, with the support of Wrocław universities and partner institutions, including the European Commission.

Erasmus Welcome Day is a new initiative that aims to become a tradition of welcoming international students to Wrocław – a city that is open, full of energy, and ready to inspire people from all over Europe.

Our Academy has prepared a drawing workshop for this event, which will be led by dr Daniela Tagowska.

Imaginary Herbarium is a drawing workshop using simple printmaking techniques such as monotype, inviting participants to explore the plant as a contemporary element of a herbarium or visual diary. The session encourages creative observation and reinterpretation of botanical forms through experimental graphic expression.
