The past few weeks have been filled with a festive atmosphere and events bringing together the international community of ASP. Together with Erasmus+, MFA, and international PhD students, we gathered in the pre-Christmas spirit during two special events: a trip to Milicz and a Christmas meeting.

The trip to Milicz and the surrounding area was a great opportunity to explore the charms of the region, spend time together, and foster connections among students from different countries. During the trip, we visited the Smakulskich Apiary in Pakosław, where participants took part in gingerbread-making workshops and had the chance to go behind the scenes of a local family-run apiary, learning about its daily work and traditions. Next, we went to Milicz, to the Glass Christmas Ornament Museum, where students toured this unique museum and created their own Christmas ornaments during hands-on workshops.

The highlight of this busy pre-Christmas period was the Christmas meeting in Sztuka na Miejscu, which put everyone in a truly festive mood. Participants had the opportunity to taste traditional Polish Christmas Eve dishes, including red Barszcz, Pierogi, and other holiday treats. The quiz on Polish Christmas traditions brought plenty of joy and laughter and also served as a great occasion for conversations and exchanging experiences. Students from various countries eagerly shared their own holiday customs, creating a warm international atmosphere.

Both events were not only an opportunity to learn about Polish culture and traditions but also to foster integration and strengthen bonds within the international community of the Academy of Fine Arts.

As the International Relations and Promotion Department, we would like to thank everyone for participating in the events and wish you all a Merry Christmas full of joy and happiness!
