Peszko Wojciech
In 1987, I graduated in Glass Design from the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the State Higher School of Fine Arts (now the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław).
I work primarily with artistic glass; however, every creative process always begins with drawing. Drawing takes the form of a spontaneous record of what is unconscious and undefined. Glass is created through a fascinating yet controlled process, carried out step by step. Each stage brings me closer to transferring imagined forms, textures, and colours into another dimension that exists solely within glass. The figurative world hidden inside glass is seemingly inaccessible. Shape, colour, and carefully arranged situations create a metaphorical and sensuous aura for the constructed images.
