Kwaśnica Ida
Assistant at the Intermedia Photography and On-camera Activities Studio, Department of Media Art, Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. She also teaches Photography and Multimedia in the part-time study program. Her practice spans photography, performance, cyberperformance, and both online and camera-based activities. She creates objects, photo-objects, installations, and intermedia projects. In her artistic work, she explores issues of identity, corporeality, human nature, and the functioning of the individual within society. She is interested in the manipulative and persuasive potential of images generated by new technologies, as well as in how digital media shape reality and influence social development. Her research and practice focus on contemporary internet phenomena as spaces for self-creation and identity production, which she translates into her creative work.
