Bączyk Maciej
In 2003, he graduated from the University of Wrocław, Faculty of Historical and Pedagogical Sciences, majoring in Cultural Studies, and in 2020, he completed his doctoral studies at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław at the Department of Media Art.
I work with sound and image, both in practice and theory. Since 1999, I have been recording albums and performing with bands such as AGD, Robotobibok, Małe Instrumenty, Kristen, and currently Pin Park. In parallel, I develop audiovisual projects within the domain of Time-Based Media: experimental film, installation, performance, sound art. I regularly publish books and records (in print, on vinyl, and CD). Since 2014, together with Aga Jarząb, I have run an independent audiovisual studio – kinoMANUAL.
