The main objective of the studio is to develop the student's abilities for creative thinking, imagination and artistic consciousness, while imparting on the student expertise and skills. Particular focus is placed on encouraging the designer to seek alternative creative forms within the field of interior design. Those activities pertain not only to the spatial but also virtual design as well as scenography for film, TV, advertising, etc.). Students have access to latest technologies and digital tools. The Studio encourages development of innovative ideas, unconventional solutions to form and function, provides space for experimental learning beyond the scope of traditional design. By accessing and working with latest technologies students are able to test and experiment with complex geometric forms, venturing into new territories. In addition, lectures are presented by leading professionals in the field of design, providing students opportunity to access the knowledge hub, make use of new technologies in architecture and design, including manufacturing techniques and 3D printing. Ability to conduct 3D modeling and printing is also covered in the curriculum. The wide scope of skills covered by the program, equips the graduates with a broad skills base, sought after by future employers. Ability to work with confidence with 3 dimensional spaces adds a professional edge to our students, which assists them in furthering the development of their professional careers in the field of applied art and design. Students can also branch out into multimedia studies such as computer games, animation, architectural visualizations or feature films.
