Biographical note

Born in 1968 in Wrocław. Studies in 1989-94 at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Wrocław (currently the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław). She completed her diploma in artistic graphics under the supervision of prof. Andrzej Basaj and design graphics under the supervision of prof. Jan Jaromir Aleksiun. Currently, as a professor, he runs the Artists'Book Studio at the Printmaking Department at the Faculty of Graphics and Media Art, at the Academy of Fine Arts the  Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław.
In the years 2008-2016 she was the head of the Printmaking Department

He works with printmaking, drawing, painting, illustration, and an art' book.
Since 1992, she has presented her works at 31 individual exhibitions and over 100 collective exhibitions at home and abroad.

She has twice received the Scholarship of the Fundacja im. Tadeusz Kulisiewicz (1993-1994 and 1998-1999) In 1996 she received the Prize of the Society of Lovers of the Lubin Region at the International Biennial of Graphics in Metal Techniques. In 2005, she received a distinction - a medal at the International Biennial of Small Graphic Forms and Bookplates in Ostrów Wielkopolski. In 2006, she was awarded in the competition for biblical illustration "When the word becomes an image", organized by the publishing house of Saint Wojciech in Poznań

Characteristic of the projects and research in which the PhD student is to be subsumed, including the expected practical and theoretical competencies of the PhD student:

Cooperation in the implementation of projects in the field of printmaking and artbook. Expected competencies of the doctoral student: advanced knowledge of printmaking techniques.  Knowledge of the latest concepts, theories and issues of the art discipline related to the area of art or design activity and at the interface between related disciplines.  Advanced knowledge of the workshop and technological aspects of creative activity. Knowledge in the field of teaching methodology, with particular emphasis on didactics in artistic education. Expanded knowledge of the history of art and aesthetics as well as various aspects and trends related to contemporary art. Knowledge related to the possibilities of using new technologies. Knowledge of the methods and techniques of presenting one's own achievements, such as the preparation of an exhibition, show, or publication.

Characteristic of didactic cooperation between the supervisor and the PhD student:

Own research, workshops, (exercises), individual or team realization of artistic projects, including their popularization, and consultations. Ability to work in a team. Required knowledge and skills in didactic and/or educational work.
