Creation of Multimedia Space

He graduated from the Faculty of Painting, Printmaking and Sculpture of the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Wrocław (now the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław), majoring in Printmaking.

The installations I have been making for many years are aimed at creating a scheme at the meeting point of two spaces: the illusory (screen) and material space, represented by specific places, screen-objects and things. It is exploration of new values by destroying the homogeneous spatial and media order; testing and annexing new areas through artistic and workshop experiments. It is also a search for new concepts connected with a broad understanding of installation and an extension of the idea of the screen as a place for the projection of images.

1986 – Second Degree Group Award of the Minister of Culture and Art

1986 – Second Award in the poster competition at the International Film Festival in Mons, Belgium
