Printmaking

Graduate of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, field of studies: printmaking.

If I were to revise my artistic activity the mainstream would be printmaking on sculpture. In printmaking, apart from specialization in techniques involving firing on ceramics, glass and metal, I am also interested in the areas adjacent to printmaking such as bioprint, object, site-specific or performance.

The subject of my works is invariably man and his social, political, emotional environment.

In my works, one can find a commentary on current events, as well as elements from history or my own reflections. The whole is connected by a specific sense of humour, often bordering on the absurd.

I work by creating whole series or multithreaded projects, among others: 'Logorea', 'Lalopathy', 'Eat Your Mother', 'Born to be KING... kong', 'I – Moloch', 'Woman Thinks', 'KaKa PooPoo Project', 'Eating Marilyn Monroe', 'Ricochet', 'BDD – Dysmorphoby', 'Toxic Lollipop'.

Since 2006, together with XY Anka Mierzejewska, we have been active in the artistic group called "The Old Banana" and organizing performative actions in public space. Since 2018 I have cooperated on a permanent basis as an illustrator with Bronka Nowicka, winner of the Nike Award, within the framework of the Imago project.
