Stępkowska-Nowak Anna
In 2000 she graduated from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, where she received a diploma in graphic design in the studio supervised by Prof. Eugeniusz Smoliński and an addendum to the diploma in painting and drawing in the studio of Prof. Wanda Gołkowska. Professionally, she specializes in functional design. She has completed several industrial implementations introduced into the domestic and foreign markets, e.g. for the furniture, interior furnishings and clothing industries. As part of her didactic activities, she draws on selected methodologies used in design, such as Design Thinking, popularizing and applying them in her work with students. Co-founder of the artistic group Continuation and Opposition /1999/.
In her artistic work she is fascinated by geometric and conceptual art. In 2018 she started the Interdepartmental Doctoral Studies at the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław within the Ministerial Implementation Doctorate Programme.
