Lech Marta

Assistant tutor Marta Lech, PhD

Diploma Coordinator in the Department of Printmaking

In 2005 she graduated from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, field of studies: printmaking.

I deal with printmaking, less often with painting and drawing. My preferred technique is linocut. In my printmaking work, I constantly circle around the motif of light. I look for situations in which it gives an illusory impression of a measurable, countable structure, possible to be included in the rigours of my thinking about the world and space. I am interested in creating an image deliberately devoid of narrativeness, muted, focused on form and the aesthetic experience associated with it.
