WELCOME WEEK for Erasmus+ students

Announcement
Published 22 Feb 2021

From 16 to 19 February 2021, the International Relations and Promotion Department welcomed new Erasmus + exchange students as part of its Welcome Week initiative.

During the Welcome Week, the modest (for obvious pandemic reasons) group of incoming students had the opportunity to learn about the history of Wrocław during a guided walking tour, make friends with each other and with the national customs of individual countries during cultural workshops, or make traditional pierogi with the guidance of experts who prepared culinary workshops for them.

After a day for the body (mainly the stomach), the students went on an artistic feast at the National Museum and the Four Domes Pavilion.

We hope that this week will be a good start to an unforgettable time at our Academy and in our city.

The activities within the framework of Welcome Week were implemented within the NAWA WELCOME TO POLAND programme. The WELCOME TO POLAND programme is financed by the European Social Fund within the framework of the Operational Programme Knowledge, Education, Development, an out-of-competition project entitled Improvement of competences of academic staff and the potential of the institution in accepting people from abroad - Welcome to Poland, implemented within Measure 3.3. Internationalisation of Polish higher education, specified in the application for co-financing of the POWR.03.03.00-IP 14/18 project.
