The Faculty of Graphic Arts offers Master's Degree studies for the major of Graphic Arts.
The major instruction in the field of Graphic Arts is based on three faculty departments: the Graphic Arts Techniques Department, the Graphic Design Department and the Visual Knowledge Department, they include the studios and teach the major subjects. Each of the departments offers at least one major subject while allowing students to work for their final diploma in the appropriate studios.
The principle underlying the organisation of major instruction in the faculty makes the basic major subjects mandatory for the second year students. Later the second year students are offered the possibility to choose their own field of major instruction. This consists of the appropriate selection of studios and subjects in preparation for a final diploma plus complementary and additional subjects.
Complementary instruction is provided as well by the faculty departments, and the subjects within this block also complement the major instruction. General plastic arts instruction required for the Faculty of Graphic Arts is: Drawing (years one to five), Painting (years one to five) and Sculpture (the first year).
